Mercedes-Benz EQC
The EQC is the first fully-electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz’s new EQ brand. It is powered by an 80 kWh lithium-ion battery which has a range of 259 miles and can travel from 0 to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 111 mph.
The EQC features the MBUX multimedia system which has numerous EQ-specific functions such as range display, charge status and energy flow. MBUX also includes the ‘Hey Mercedes’ virtual assistant with voice activation. EQ-optimised navigation bases its calculation on the fastest route taking into account the shortest charging time and informs the driver of nearby charging points.
EQC Sport models come as standard with a host of features including Active Parking Assist with a reversing camera, Blind Spot Assist, Multibeam LED Headlights, Seat Comfort package, 19-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels and touchscreen media display and instrument cluster.
The EQC AMG Line trims add AMG black panel radiator, sport seats in leather upholstery, carbon fibre trim, 20-inch multi-spoke AMG alloy wheels and bespoke front apron.
Next up, EQC AMG Line Premium models feature all of the above equipment and add, amongst other things, an electric sliding roof, Burmester surround sound system, Augmented Navigation and and wireless charging (for compatible smartphones).
Last but not least, the Mercedes EQC AMG Line Premium Plus trims add MBUX Interior Assistant, head-up display, parking package and and memory seats.
The Mercedes-Benz EQC range also includes two special editions in the form of the Edition 1 and limited edition EQC Edition 1886.
